I like Apples

Particularly when they happen to be one of the unique varieties cultivated right here in my home state at the University of Minnesota.

Recently, I embarked on a family outing to the orchard where we picked no fewer than 2 bushels of our favorite apples (yes, I know that’s a lot of apples). It was during this early fall ritual that I thought of illustrating, designing and writing taglines for a few of Minnesota's finest fruits.

While literally enjoying the fruits of our labor, I researched and sketched out some initial ideas for each apple breed before taking to the computer to refine eight of my favorites. What do you think of them?
